Did you know that modern Peruvian restaurant ICHU has a beautiful outdoor rooftop space? Terraza is ICHU’s urban-jungle inspired rooftop terrace. The al fresco spot hosts weekly DJ performances, along with regular happy hours (including offers on shisha), right in the heart of Central.

Taking its cue from the Japanese Alps, Lounge Hakuba bring us all of the après ski vibes. Think high ceilings and cosy seating, designed to evoke the feel of an airy ski chalet, complete with a rooftop terrace decked out in an insta-worthy campsite aesthetic. Though relatively new to Hong Kong’s rooftop bar scene, this pick has quickly become a fan favourite for its Japanese-inspired cocktails and omakase shisha experience.

Set on the top floor of The Murray, this rooftop restaurant and bar is one of Hong Kong’s finest, serving up a modern European-inspired menu, along with an impressive beverage selection. While Popinjays’ restaurant has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, a must visit is the 420-square metre rooftop wrap-around terrace, complete with inviting lounge chairs, comfortable couches and unparalleled views of The Peak, Central Hong Kong and its surrounding parks.

Portico (at Spiga)

This sprawling al-fresco rooftop terrace, attached to Italian restaurant Spiga, is one of our favourite outdoor spots in Hong Kong for casual drinks. The relaxed ambiance and desirable location (right by Central MTR, Exit D) provide Portico with a winning combination. In addition to drinks, this rooftop bar serves tasty bar snacks, including pizza and antipasti.

Sassy Tip: Ask for the cosy hanging chairs on the far left of the rooftop terrace, pair your drink with the truffle pizza, and your night is set for success.

Located within the Kerry Hotel, this rooftop bar offers one of the best angles of the Hong Kong skyline.
